Sunchild Club

Sunchild is a new family support group for parents/carers of children with additional needs in North Herts. Theyl meet monthly on Saturday mornings at Coombes Community Centre in Royston. It is for the whole family.

Grace's Space

Grace's Space is a monthly Saturday club to support children aged
3-9 years old diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
and their siblings and parents.
The sessions include music activities, sports, creative dance
and interactive stories.
It runs monthly at the Grace Community Church in Hydean Way in Stevenage.

Breakaway Saturday and Holiday Clubs

Norths Hertfordshire CVS run Breakaway Saturday Club and holiday playschemes in Letchworth and Stevenage for children with special needs aged 5-19.

Woolgrove School Saturday Club

The Woolgrove Saturday Club is open to pupils, siblings and local children who are on the autistic spectrum. The club is open every other Saturday morning from 9.30-12.30 at a charge of £5 per child. Activities include cooking, computers, arts and crafts, toys to play with, a well-equipped playground and much more.

Children are encouraged to be independent and to interact with each other, thereby enhancing their social skills. Parents too can join in and help, meet with other parents over tea and coffee at the end of the session, or enjoy the break to spend time with other family members.
